Dr. Molly Mac Lochlainn-Row

Dr. Molly Mac Lochlainn-Row grew up in Derry city before moving to Galway to complete her undergraduate degree in Medicine in the National University of Ireland, Galway. After completing her internship in Sligo and Galway she spent one year in New Zealand working in an accident and emergency Department in Tauranga Hospital before returning to Galway to take her place in the Western training Programme in General Practice. In her two years of hospital training she moved through specialties such as ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Psychiatry, General Medicine and Paediatrics, in hospitals in UCHG, Ballinasloe and Roscommon. She has spent time in rural and urban practices in Glenamaddy and Gort, Co. Galway, and in Roscommon. She has a keen interest in women’s health and is experienced and certified in all aspects of contraception including the insertion and removal of Implanon and Mirena devices. She spends her free time with her husband and 3 young children, her dog and yoga.
